Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are...dead?

Mood: Dead.
Song of the Day: Smells Like Teen Spirit, Nirvana
...Perhaps it was the questionable disappearance of Hamlet, or maybe the fact that we were ALONE in England...but, we died. That's it...dead...

...NOT QUITE!!!

Yes, we died, but was it a pathetic death? Did we die without dignity and honor?...no...well, maybe...nevermind...it was all pretty stupid...

P.S. We went back to Denmark, this time as spiritual entities, to find what?...NO ONE! Not even a fair maiden to spy on...OH, WHAT A PATHETIC EXCUSE FOR A HAUNT!

Oh my...

Mood: ...

Song of the Day: I Will Survive, Gloria Gaynor

Rosencrantz: Hamlet has gone, Guildenstern...with the pirates. Guildenstern: Yes, indeed I know of this...we are nearly to England, what to do now? Rosencrantz: Why, give the King the letter, of course. Guildenstern: Of course! Then, we'll explain to him how Hamlet was captured by pirates, eh? Rosencrantz: Well, yes...we...will. Guildenstern: Rosencrantz:

Rosencrantz: Here is the letter, sir. King: ...Yes, come with me. Guildenstern: But, sir, we must explain- King: It is all here...
GUARDS!...

Seized

Guildenstern: Well, we really
botched this up, eh?

Died

P.S. WHAT?! Everyone dies before they even KNOW?!

A few...off-notes of our endearing thoughts.

Mood: We're not exactly sure...
Song of the Day: Dazed and Confused, Led Zeppelin
...We've been putting this off for quite a while now, and we think that the passer-bys of our string of events should be inclined to know EXACTLY what we're feeling at this moment in time:
ANGER, sadness, ,fear, other basic human emotions, an unhealthy, repetitive hunger, NOTHINGNESS (that was somewhat melodramatic), an undying sense for a hug, the need to build something out of all that snow, Guildenstern: an unknown desire to learn how to play the recorder, the want of a colorful outfit (preferably one of the King's), we need a map, the sorrow of not being able to see the entirity of that play, we need to shake of that strange feeling that this entire situation has been scripted...

Oh, how the drama never ceases to end...

Mood: Scared
Song of the Day: Getting Scared, Imogen Heap
Well, from what we heard, Hamlet was captured by pirates...perhaps, but somehow...nevermind. Whatever Hamlet says goes, eh?

Oh, and as for Hamlet, we think that his plan (whatever that shall be) has back-fired somewhat, for, poor Ophelia has drowned. Yes, she is now dead. It's a saddening prospect, but we feel that we should at least stay close to the door before we're next...it seems that it could be anytime now before the innocent is reputable to die...or, wait...wethinks that has already happened...*gulp*

We heard of screams, singing, and obvious laughter...

Mood: Anxious
Song of the Day: Crazy, Gnarles Barkley
So, we figure that Ophelia's gone crazy also...oh, what a couple her and Hamlet would have made...so very...quaint.

Yes, her father's death must have been taken harder than anyone would have ever thought (sure, some crying, nightmares, and the occassional anger strike is normal, but complete insanity...there's a new one on us). She seems to have captured Hamlet's card right on the Ace, an upside-down Ace at that.

We also heard that her brother made it into town and that he saw her, completely
petrified he was. Sounds to us like Hamlet's in t-r-u-b-'-l-e...

Well, we found him, and...we'll probably end up doing it all again later...

Mood: Contemplative
Song of the Day: Thank you for the venom, My Chemical Romance
So we reached a barren plain in Denmark and Captain of Norway is there on his horse (what an enlightening sentence). However, with how Hamlet detains the situation, we figure that there's much more to the murder of Polonius than we first encountered. Sure, Hamlet's crazy, but...could he be...nay, let us not think on it...Surely, there's no way he would have done that dreadful deed so...purposefully...right?

Hamlet tells us to go on ahead of him, but we hear him speak of “dull revenge”, “godlike reason”, and “'This thing's to do'”...oh, yes, also of “my thoughts be bloody, or be nothing worth!”...we figured that that was of some importance...

We didn't come here to chase around a Mad man, y'know?

Mood: A bit concerned...
Song of the Day: Chasing Cars, Snow Patrol
Well, we've thought on it, and...Hamlet's insane. You see, it's not just because he's decided to stab the King's dear brother countless times in his own mother's room...no, of course not, It's because he gave us a funny look...right? RIGHT?! Oh, can't THAT be the cause of all this madness?!

I mean, we ran off our night's supper chasing Hamlet around to find out that he killed Polonius! At first, we were having at least an entertaining time watching after the poor fellow, but now he's...he's...*bursts into tears.* -Hold yourself together Rosencrantz-shut up Guildenstern, you don't know what it's like---*Defiling stare*

Oh yeah, and, we're still
CHASING HIM AROUND! Never a break, eh?

Anyway, the only real fun that came out of that situation was the fact that Hamlet called King Claudius “mother”...*snickers*, it was truly entertaining...
